vacation after 3 years in Dubai

Just a start of my blog...

I have been thinking a lot on how to spend my first ever vacation economically. I got solicited information from my sister and friends who had been to philippines recently and they all narrated and concluded that it's expensive. I mean for like me who has not been home for 3 years, I will really notice and feel the drastic increase in the price of all commodities from shampoo, toothpaste, fruits etc. We all would compare how our lifestyle in Dubai and Phils. I must be ready to spend more everytime you go out as the mindset of most people is 'you've earned more/got huge savings' so you have to spend extra.... so insane and shouldn't be skeptical since it's enormously true. Most filipinos coming back from vacation were suffocated by their bills from all expenses through credit card.

So my motto is to save onto my debit card, never dwindle and never be enticed to accept offers from all credit card companies/banks. I won't be tempted so that I can control by expenses when I am home. I do not want to return here empty-handied, broke and 'single'.

omg, where is that 'single' word came from...???? hhhmmm it just instantly cross my mind.

Nevertheless, I could not stop thinking/speculating the thrills and excitement seeing all my friends and families (especially my nephews)...what to do and where to go... I still have 4 months to list everything. For all filipinos, 'pasalubong' is very essential. So I need to hoard now... pasalubong is part of our culture, simply means a token or a souvenir especially if you come back from a long absence (is my absense long???).

...till next time...must leave now!
